Don't confuse this place with the Buddha Bar in Kurucesme or Big Buddha and Little Buddha in Levent. Buddha Rock Bar is one of the most popular bars on Kadife Sokak. It's a student hangout, where popular local bands play mostly run-of-the-mill blues and rock covers. It has a good relaxed ambiance and rarely gets overcrowded. The DJ pumps out several different brands of rock and blues. Drinks are pretty cheap and it is frequented. It's one of those places that you start out at and then decide you don't want to leave. A medium-sized bar and a few lounge chairs offer comfortable seating.
