This bar has been part of the Capitol Hill landscape since 1955 and has earned a loyal following among Congressional staffers. Customers feed the juke box and slide into booths, where they chat energetically or gaze at the television. Outsiders are routinely mystified by The Tune Inn's appeal, but regulars pay them no mind. The staff claims this pub is the cheapest place on the Hill. With burgers at $3.75, they may be right. Breakfast food is available all day and night. Down-home favorites like open-faced roast beef sandwiches, greasy burgers, finger-licking barbecue, fish and chili are available on the regular menu.
