This interactive, multifaceted museum of natural history is the largest of its kind in the western United States, and one of the most respected. Not only can visitors see great permanent exhibits like Edge of the Wild, Egyptian Mummies, Space Odyssey, and more, but the museum is attached to an IMAX Theatre and the Gates Planetarium which take learning to a new level. Some upcoming guest exhibits are Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, and Machu Picchu: Unveiling the History of the Incas. Check the official website for more future exhibitions. The museum is located in Denver's City Park and houses over 775,000 artifacts.

Admission to museum $10 adults, $6 children 3-18 and seniors 65 and older; IMAX $8 adults, $6 children and seniors; planetarium $5 subsequent adults, $4 subsequent children and seniors
