The leisure centre Baggersee, is a popular oasis of recreation in the vicinity of the town. You can easily reach it by bike, with inline skates or by car (it offers free parking facilities). Apart from a refreshing bath, lots of sporting and leisure activities are offered: open-air chess, basketball, football, table tennis, beach volleyball, a fantastic playground for children and an extensive park, where you can enjoy warm summer evenings until 10pm. A break for families: accompanied by one adult, only two children pay the entry, the rest of the kids go in free. All of the sporting facilities are free-of-charge, too. Check their website for the individual timings of each facility.
