The Roskilde festival is one of the world's largest festivals, offering a large and varied selection of music each year. The festival grounds are on the outskirts of Roskilde, about half an hour's travel from Copenhagen. The almost 30-year-old festival is supported by hundreds of voluntary workers each year. It has grown enormously, and is very popular. Many international bands come here to perform like Garbage and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Tickets can be bought through BilletNet.
