The neighborhood bar and patio at Trudy's Texas Star is a staple for Austinites. Do not miss their signature drink, the Mexican Martini, easily the best in town. Served in a cocktail shaker, this cross between a margarita and a martini is so potent that there is a two-drink limit. Happy hour, all day Mon and Tue-Sat 2pm-7pm, features rotating specials. Upstairs you'll find an excellent Mexican restaurant.
