Utah Opera Company continues to entertain with returning favorites and fresh new pieces. Since 1978, more than 130,000 people come to Capitol Theatre each year to hear beautiful opera. The company mesmerized audiences with the 1996 premiere of Dreamkeepers, which has been noted as a incontrovertible success story by Rodney Milnes of The Times in London. Other past performances include 'Rigoletto' by Verdi and, 'Madame Butterfly' by Puccini.
