Auckland Zoo has committed itself to improving the living quarters of New Zealand's largest collection of native and exotic animal species. Now you feel as though you are walking with the rare white rhinos on the Pridelands, swinging with the monkeys through the Rain Forest and almost swimming with the inhabitants of Hippo River. There are picnic facilities and a café. The zoo has many outreach and educational programs for both visitors and local groups and is available for corporate and private functions.
