The Renaissance, the southernmost and best located of three beachfront tower hotels just north of Gordon Street, offers direct access to the beach. There is a pleasant terrace cafe overlooking the sea in good weather; and an indoor heated pool ensures a chance to swim, even in winter. Rooms have balconies and are comfortable but not exceptional; although public areas were maintained during the tourism drop of 2000-04, decor in the guest rooms has worn thin. Some guest rooms are accessible.
