Formal headquarters of the Foreign Ministry, this building was the residence of the Anchorena family. The main entrance is on Arenales street, with a huge iron and bronze bar facade, in Bourbon style. In general, the building is considered the model adopted by the richest estates in the country at the turn of the century. The Palace also has a library specialized in International Law, history of Foreign relations, World History, and World geography, with more than 60,000 volumes for research, even in languages other than Spanish.
