As one of the most important cultural institutions in Sweden, Berwaldhallen has been the official concert hall of the Swedish Radio & Television Corporation since 1979. The Swedish radio channel P2 broadcasts live concerts from here. Two-thirds of the building is located underground, because the neighborhood had protested fearing the noise. In 1981, the architects who designed the hall were awarded the famous Europa Nostra prize. Tune into one of the best radio stations ever!!
